1. Who controls your data
Ogen Group Ltd (Company No. 17042093), trading as Lentals, is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). ICO registration number: [TO BE ADDED].
2. What data we hold
Landlords
Name, email, phone, billing details (via Stripe — we never store card data), property addresses, tenancy records, and financial data.
Tenants
Name, phone, email, tenancy details (property, rent, deposit scheme), maintenance reports and messages, document access records, and Right to Rent documents (extra protections apply).
Contractors
Name, phone number, job records, and communication history.
3. Why we hold it
Landlords: we need it to run your account and deliver the service you're paying for.
Tenants: we use it to manage your maintenance requests and serve you legally required documents. We only contact you about your tenancy.
Contractors: we use it to send you jobs and coordinate with landlords.
4. How long we keep it

5. Your rights
In plain English, you can:
- See what we hold about you — request a copy of your data
- Ask us to correct it — if anything is wrong, let us know
- Ask us to delete it — subject to legal retention obligations (e.g. audit trail records we must keep for 6 years)
- Download a copy of your data — in a structured, machine-readable format
- Object to how we use it — you can challenge processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent for marketing — at any time, instantly

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management — these are necessary for the platform to work and don't require consent. Analytics cookies are only loaded after you give explicit consent. No marketing or tracking cookies load before you opt in.
